School Matrix Directions for Accessing Student Grades

Please find below some helpful directions to accessing your children's grades using your School Matrix parent account:
You can access School Matrix via the Internet through the Sergeant Bluff-Luton home page at http://www.sblschools.com and clicking on the icon that says School Matrix.

You will now see a screen that shows the words School Matrix in the center of the screen. On the left-hand side you will click on the hotlink that says "Parents", this will take you to the log in screen for School Matrix.

Enter your username and password to view your child(ren)s information.
You can view your child’s grade one of two ways. The first way on is by clicking on the child's name you want to view. Under the word Performance you could possibly see two choices: 1. "No Grades" (which means there are no grades for that class); 2. "## Grades" hotlink. You can click on the "## Grades" hotlink to see grades for that individual class. Because some children have different sections on different days, you will want to change the date and click "Update Information" to view the other classes.

The second way is by click the tab that says "My Information" and click on the words "Grades for My Children". On this screen you will see the names of your children right above the dates (center of the screen). Click the circle on the left side of your child's name you wish to view and then click the "Next" button that is located on the top left-hand side of the screen. The following screen will show you the grades for all classes your child is scheduled to during the trimester. If you wish to view another child's grades, click the "Close" button and repeat the process.

We encourage you to change your password by clicking on your name in the right hand corner of the screen. You will be immediately logged out of School Matrix after saving the new information. You will need to enter your new information to log back in.

When you are done with viewing your child(ren)s information, please logout using the "Logout" button located below your name at the top right-hand side of the screen.

If your children wish to view their information using their student accounts, they will also need to use the Parent link from home. The links that say Primary/Elementary, "Middle School", and "High School" are internal addresses and can only be accessed in the school buildings.
